Our websites use no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. residion.io and its subdomains are built to load only their own content: no CDNs, no analytics scripts, no advertising or cross-site trackers. This notice forms part of our Privacy Policy.
1What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website can store in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and tags. They can be "strictly necessary" (needed for a page to work) or used for analytics, personalisation, or advertising. This notice explains which, if any, we use.
2Our approach
We take a deliberately minimal approach, consistent with the data-sovereignty principles behind Residion. On our public websites we do not use:
- third-party analytics (for example, product or web analytics services);
- advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, pixels, or tags;
- content delivery networks or externally hosted fonts, scripts, or stylesheets; or
- social media tracking widgets.
Our marketing pages are static and are served without setting cookies of their own.
3Strictly necessary cookies
If we add a feature that genuinely requires a cookie or local-storage entry to function (for example, to remember a preference you set), we will use only what is strictly necessary for that feature. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, but we will keep them limited and purposeful. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first, as required by law.
4Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to warn you before accepting them. Because our sites do not rely on non-essential cookies, blocking them should not affect your ability to read our pages. Browser help pages explain how to manage cookies for your specific browser.
5A note about the Residion product
This notice covers our public websites. The Residion product runs inside your own environment. Any cookies or session tokens used by the Residion application are part of that self-hosted deployment, under your control, and are described in the product Documentation rather than here.
